A few years ago, lip singing and posting it in Youtube was the so called "in" thing. The wacky face expressions people used to do. Just rekindling last night about the chinese backstreet boys and our country's very own version Moymoy Palaboy who got into showbiz just by posting their videos on youtube.

Chat with me with Yahoo Pingbox

I've recently found a cool widget that bloggers can make a good use of. It's called the Yahoo Messenger Pingbox, basically all you need is a yahoo messenger account and you can get your very own widget that you can post in your blog like this one or any other social networking sites that you have like friendster, multiply etc.
The application enables you to chat with the owner of the site when he/she is online in his ym account. Cool right! I've just added one in my blog so if ever you see me online, say hi to me and introduce yourselves.

31 ways to make a girl smile

31 Ways To Make A Girl Smile

1. Dont hug her friends or your friends that are girls cause she'll feel left out
2. Hold her hand at any moment . . . even if its just for a second.
3. Hug her from behind
4. Leave her voice messages to wake up.
5. Wrestle with her
6. Don't go hang out with your ex when shes not with you, you might not realize how badly it hurts her.
7. If you're talking to another girl, when you're done talking, walk over and hug her and kiss her.... let her know she's yours and they aren't.
8. Write her notes or call her just to say "hi"..and not just at night after you've already been out with other girls.
9. Introduce her to your friends . . . as your girlfriend.
10. Play with her hair.
11. Pick her up
12. Get upset if another guy touches her and she doesn't like it.
13. Make her laugh, if you can make her laugh, you can make her do anything.
14. Let her fall asleep in your arms.
15. If she's mad at you, kiss her.
16. If you care about her, then tell her
17. Every guy should give their girl 3 things: a stuffed animal(she'll hug it every time she goes to sleep), jewelry (she'll treasure it forever), and one of his t-shirts (she'll most likely wear it to bed).
18. Treat her the same around your friends as you do when you're alone.
19. Look her in the eyes and smile.
20. Hang out with her on weekends
21. Kiss her in the rain
22. Kiss her just for the heck of it
23. If your listening to music, let her listen too.
24. Remember her birthday and get her something, even if
its simple and inexpensive, it came from YOU. it means all the world to HER. it's the thought that counts.
25. When she gives you a present on your birthday, Christmas, or just whenever, take it and tell her you love it, even if you don't (it'll make her happy.)
26. Always call her when you say you will, it may not seem like it, but it does hurt her and makes her think you don't care so call even if you can only talk for a minute. Girls don't necessarily have to have hour-long conversations every night but its nice for us to hear your voice even for a quick hello.
27. Give her what she wants
28. Recognize the small things . . . they usually mean the most.
29. Tell her shes beautiful, she needs to know her striving is working.
30. Hang out with her whenever you are free and u should be free to hang
with your girlfriend all the time
31. If u care about her...SHOW her!

Gmail now has new themes

When I checked my email, I was surprised that Google Mail( Gmail) is now offering new themes to your mail account. There's a wide variety of themes that you'll surely like. I wonder when yahoo will make the same as gmail. Checking your email never have been this fun.

Console vs Online Gaming

I remember the first time I played console games with the Nintendo system. Those were Street Fighter and the famous Super Mario Bros. It me took countless hours of playing - until I finished the game and then play them all over again. Meanwhile, new Playstation and PS2 games have been published to grab a significant portion of the market share.

With the evolution of technology, game developers have crossed through another medium called the Internet and massively multiplayer PC games have been produced. Thus was born the MMORPG.

Which is better? You decide.

CONSOLE GAMES

A big advantage of console gaming over online games is that you don’t have to update the hardware to play. Console games are also compact, you can bring it whenever you want to. Another advantage of console games is you can feel at ease playing. Just sit back and relax while playing with your friends.

Now let’s look at the darker side, a somewhat negative aspect of consoles would be new developments and upgrades in software and hardware. This means you will have to buy their new product just to play. An example is Sony’s PS2 to PS3. Another setback: some game titles are offered in other consoles but not on the rival ones. An example would be Metal Gear Solid series and Tekken which are published in the Playstation but aren’t offered in the rival Xbox systems. This means you have buy their consoles just to play the game. Note that gaming isn’t cheap.

ONLINE GAMES

With online games, there is a wide range of games to choose from - from action games to casual games and more. The community is also a big advantage. As a member of the online community, you get to meet a lot of people worldwide and gain friends or guildmates/clubs and then play together while defeating bosses or finding a rare item. People usually want to express themselves through the virtual world, and online games offer customization through your characters. Game developers also release new updates and content giving you more reasons to play the games and be stronger (or just look cooler with your character.)

One sad fact of online gaming is that it’s not easy for game makers to develop new updates and content. Players constantly want new innovations. If game developers couldn’t give new updates, surely their community (and the game) will falter.

Choose what suits you the best.

Deepest Diving Pool in the World

Nemo 33, located in Belgium is a small recreational scuba diving center. The pool is 33 feet deep filled with rooms and passages that await the divers who want to venture in. It was designed by John Bernaets, also a Belgian and a diving instructor as a multi-purpose diving instruction, recreational, and film production facility.

It has been opened since 2004 attracting tourists and divers. Not your usual indoor scuba diving activity. I wonder if our country have our own recreational scuba diving center. LOL

Thoughts on Graduation

The clock is ticking, only months before graduation, the day every student is waiting for and make his parents proud of what they have accomplished. Tears and blood have been shed and that makes this more sweeter.

Of course I'll miss the bonding session times when we just talk of non-sense things, basketball frenzy, CO(checkout) you know what I mean.LOL and of course as a student I'll miss studying and learning. I've enjoyed my course( marketing) so much that it has become a part of my life right now and hopefully prepare me to the corporate world.

3 months to go, I'll make this a fruitful and unforgettable one and be proud of what I have achieved on my four years of study. I'm still planning to study in graduate school though either at UST again or DLSU.

Right now, I'm in the library typing here, waa..can't wait for my father to buy a new one. I think it will be around a month before we buy a new PC.

Ikariam Philippines

Ikariam is an web based strategy game. Basically, you just need an internet connection and browser to play this game. The words used here are tagalog so you'll find it cheesy when you translate english words to filipino. Private message me if anyone is interested in joining, because we'll be forming an alliance or guild here. Our guild (Imbalance) was ranked #21 in our former server before we've decided to move to the Philippine Server. See yah!

www.ikariam.ph

Information about ikariam:

Ikariam is an online real-time strategy game where you have to manage your resources to extend your imperium from a small settlement in a forsaken island to a complex network of cities and colonies. Its theme is based around the Mediterranean coast that saw many civilizations come and go, trade and fight. These would cross the sea to meet other cultures, sometimes with trading purposes, other with more aggressive intentions. Keeping this very spirit, Ikariam is bases around two concepts: trade and fight your neighbors to get the desires and rare resources that your cities need to keep expanding.

Macau Tour

Day 1
We arrived in Macau around 1:45 pm and went to the Venetian Hotel after, the Hotel is one of the most prestigious in the world since it is 7 stars and it has mall, wonderful food court and luxury rooms that will make you surely be envious of.

Day 2
It was a heck of a day since it is our tour. We went to St. Paul, macau tower, the original Lord Stow's bakery. Finally, shopping for some new clothes. Although the clothes there are quite expensive, the materials used are of high quality.

Day 3
I literally did nothing the whole day, except eating.LOL. The food there costs around P350-P500 in just one meal, really expensive where here you can have the same food at P120-P150.

Day 4
Flight back to the Philippines. Surely I'll miss macau and the cute girls there haha..^^

Notes:
* I saw actress Rio Locsin in the Zara Store at the Venetian Hotel
* Up close saw other Miss World candidates in the hotel, they surely are pretty and tall. I look small around them
* Filipinos are really hospitable, you'll experience this when you are in another country. You'll see the difference.
* Casino's, Casino's, Casino's.. What can you say about Asia's Las Vegas.

Back Home

At last, I'm back. Macau was really fun and I really like the weather there. Sad to say, there are a lot of Filipino there who are looking for jobs but can't find one. In a few days, I'll be posting pictures during my stay there.

I'm still tired from the trip right now and classes have already started, hopefully I can still regularly update my blog now and then.
