one certified funny post. never had close chinese friends though but i can relate to this as one can notice it when you go to chinatown or binondo.
the most bullshit part of being filipino-chinese, ung downside na dapat howe mo or mapapang-asawa mo chinese din.. kaya nga filipino-chinese at nasa pinas e, pwd pilipina.. dapat may batas satin sa mga racist.. lol
Is this by Kim or by kelvin?
cute author :p
I'm 46 pure Chinese and this is totally funny I can relate to many !! Thanks !
OMG thats so fucking true!!
When I was a kid I believe that I was Chinese.. Then while I was in my first year college my mother told me that I'm half Chinese cause my grandmother from my fathers side was Chinese. so now I'm proud that I'm half Chinese =)) even though I don't know anything about Chinese stuffs but.. few things listed here I can relate to myself =))
May choice k if fil. Or chinese mapangasaw mo. Wag lng may sabit at tamad. New generation na。
Hindi naman sa bawal mapangasawa ibang lahi its the culture difference ang ikinatatakot ng magulang. Remember family unity is a big driving force and core of its culture. And marrying into another set of culture is a major threat to the clan unity. Kaya nga may tikoy para malagkit at dikit dikit. Look at the parents point of view naman given a choice which would you preffer the known or the unknown culture?
Gusto Ko talaga pumunta Sa binondo kc feeling Ko I belong...ahaha because of my eyes Gusto Ko kumain ng masasarap na delicacies Nila...foodtrip and sobrang Gusto Ko c hello kitty...hehe bakit kasi hindi ako naging fil-chi...sayang
I can relate kahit na I'm only a bit less than half chinese at di ko na nakilala si angkong. :(
4. you are required to work during your free time... no excuses. <---- this is what made 8 of the top 10 riches people in the Philippines filipino-chinese!
technically speaking... you are only 1/4 Chinese. You're dad is 1/2.
Actually my mom is part chinese din kasi so a bit more than 1/4 :) it's a bit hard for me because I look more Chinese than I look Filipino. Filipinos would always ask, "Chinese ka ba?" but of course I'm mostly Filipino. Some Chinese mistake me for pure Chinese...
Wow some people are trying so hard to "be" or "act" Chinese when they're not. You are a disgrace to your own Filipino culture and to us pure and half Chinese.
Hahaha really true :)
It isnt racist to b a purist. It isnt derogatory to want ur wife or husband to b Chinese if u come from a chinese family, it is merely tradition.
Literacy in Fukien? Statement may not be correct. As this Chinese dialect does not have any unique written form. Instead, most words come from regular Chinese script and the unique grammtical elements are written in Latin or Bopomofo. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Written_Hokkien
I remember going to China w/ the whole clan nd this chinese immigration official was jabbering at me in mandarin about my insulin needles; im diabetic kasi, nd i look more chines-ish than my cousins who r full blooded chinese =P compared to me 5/8.
I think what he/she meant was that we had to b fluent in fukien.
#24!!! I love that! may book/comic nga kami nyan eh! :))
That happened to my wife when she was younger. Sad thing is the asshole told her 1 week before he got married. She's full filipino btw. Im only 5/8 chinese but i ddnt hav to go through what her asshole boyfriend went through. It's my life, not theirs, nd if i have to b excommunicated or disowned cuz the rest of my chinese family is so short sighted, so what right? I'll do whatever it takes to b happy.
Yes to this. Filipinos should learn to be proud of their culture and work hard to make it better. :)
Somehow though, for people who are part Chinese and part Filipino like me, the situation isn't as easy. Like for example, I always get the "Chinese ka ba? Ano ang *insert word here* in Chinese?" and the "Pahingi naman ng mooncake/tikoy!" because I look Chinese when in fact, my dad is 1/2 & mom is just 1/4. I was teased na "intsik" in grade school even though I say I'm Filipino. They wouldn't believe me because of how I look. So to Filipino friends they call me Chinese and to my Chinese friends who initially think I'm Chinese, after I tell them I'm just mixed, then I'm Filipino. It's hard being mostly Filipino by blood but have the face of Chinese. There are still issues about race, I guess?
But I'm proud of being Filipino and I really want our people to change their mindset about it! All it needs is for our countrymen to have discipline and learn that good things come from hard work!
Maybe the author meant "fluency in Hokkien"
It's sad that that had to happen to her, pero swerte po niya she got married to you! :) in my case, he thought I'm pure chinese initially but I told him before we started dating that I'm not. We both thought it could work. He also said before that he'd rather be disowned than give me up. In the end, he changed his mind and realized that heritage is important to him, and I respect that naman. I even started studying Fookien/Hokkien for his family before but sayang... We're on good terms though. :) but it's hard for me because I can't erase the fact that I'm Filipino but to a lot of people I look full-blooded Chinese.
Almost true :)
I wish Filipinos wouldn't try so hard being more "chinese" or "east asian". Not only is it offensive to some, it also makes people like me wonder how you don't seem to be ashamed of what you're doing. It's just weird. Accept yourself and move on.
Wow some people are trying so hard to "be" or "act" Chinese when they're not. You are a disgrace to your own Filipino culture and to us pure and half Chinese.
*To add to that*, Filipinos be proud of your own culture, you cannot change the fact that you are from that race. You guys are just embarrassing yourselves by making yourselves act and look Chinese when you are not! People think you are insane and stupid.
And lots of filipino thinks lahat ng chinese sa pinas mayaman.... I just say marunong lang tayo magtipid ;)
Where did you study Fookien/Hokkien? I've been looking for a teacher or classes but sadly they teach Mandarin lang.
tsinoys are welcome in phils., they are friends. but not mainland greedy bullies. Spratlys is ours.
everything except kim's face is so relateable
limiting your choices to a certain type of race is what led Hitler to exterminate the Jews. Think about it. That is being a purist.
If you guys want to marry pure chinese people, bat di kayo pumuntang china nlng. Hahha
Hehe Japan Japan c Hello Kitty :)
What exactly does appearance have to do with culture? If you want them to have the same superficial standard of "pride" as you do then they shouldn't have had embraced the Chinese community in the first place, or they could have implemented laws based on race, like Malaysia. Every culture and religion in this world is forged out of fear. In this particular case, it's your fear to be in the same social strata, and you have to overcome it to embrace your humanity.
Haha very relateable! Funny how pure Chinese people start talking to us in Mandarin (in China) or in Fookien/Hokkien here in the Philippines then they have this surprised expression when you explain that you're not pure Chinese and you can't understand what they're saying.
I was taught mostly by my now ex-boyfriend, and I also used to self-study. Hard-to-find ang books on Hokkien and even though I found an English-Hokkien dictionary, Amoy Hokkien siya which is different from the variant ng Hokkien na gamit ng mga Chi-Fil here in the Philippines. There is one though, by Betty Lee, "How To Speak Chinese: Fujianwa," but it only teaches the commonly used words. It is helpful though with sentence construction/grammar. For the pronunciation though, you'll have to have someone to help you out because of the different tones. One word spoken in a different tone can be a whole lot different from what you intend to say :) Trying to use the language with other Chinese friends who use it will help, too.
I'm sorry but I don't know anyone who teaches Fookien/Hokkien. It's hard to look for a teacher because China nowadays emphasizes the use of Mandarin and not the other dialects so there aren't many books around.
Hindi yun racist. Out of convenience lang, para same kayo ng values and traditions. Very strong ang culture ng Chinese so very inconvenient pag non-Chinese yung howe. Siya rin mahihirapan. It's like how you prefer someone from the same religion, same social class, etc. Grabe ka naman to equate that to Hitler's principles. :)
Hahaha nxt CEO tpos ganyan ka magcomment ano jejemn CEO?
I am pure Chinese, good sir. :)) Now I bet you are a pure huanna Filipino which is why you are trying to fight me! Hahahaha! Don't worry though--the Chinese Filipinos will always be the ones holding all the businesses and even politics here in the Philippines, we are the powerful race, and every single Chinese Filipino family is training their children to do the same. Not everyone can be part of the greatest race on earth! :)) Sorry to you! Di si ya gongong e huanna ah!
Haha that's a first.
Hahaha
Uhh stuff lang hindi stuffs. Noun construction mo mali.

Unfortunately you are wrong. I am Fil-Chi as well and I find your last post more stupid than the previous one. I just realized I'm talking to a teen in God mode and I'll just leave you to your fantasy and self destruct. There is no point continuing this. Just don't drag the rest of us with your line of thinking.
Even if u look full or pure chinese but if u cant speak the language, Ur simply not chinese. If u.speak hookien only, not Mandarin...your still not a.chinese in China.....ergo, u have to.speak Mandarin if U want to be.considered a G.I.
Worst, are the.pa-chinese just.to have.superiority feel....ignorance & arrogarnce are totally unacceptable!
Also, fyi.....if ur an overseas chinese ( imported or born in china, tw or sing watever! ) living in or settled in pinas....ur a Chi-Fil.
If ur.born and raised in pinas even if ur.parents are imports....Ur a FiL-Chi and pledge ur allegiance to Pinas....else, Nobody's stopping U.to go back wherever ur so called home country.
im chinese filipino too but only few of those apply to me and i see these supposed facts as usually only mostly apply to the very chinese families or maybe even specifically ones who have lived or do live in binondo so im saying i only see these points to only apply to my parents and my older sister who lived in binondo when she was a kid
Ahahaha! At least you are humble enough to recognize that you can no longer debate me! :P I'm so sorry to tell you, but I am one of the smartest in my batch, a trained debater, and my future is very well secured when I take over my father's multimillion earning company! :P How sad for you, noh? Hahahahaha! :P And lastly, what I am doing is a mere small thing to how defensive Chinese Filipino kids can be. There are many of me in this world! :P How sad for you again! :P
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. goodluck
i am only 1/4 Chinese but back when kong-kong(pure Chinese) was still alive he was very strict or somewhat keen about the Chinese traditions.
downsides of being 1/4 Chinese: you go with pinoy friends and they see you as chinese, and if you're with chinese friends they see you as pinoy.hahaha
-diancai
Racist tradition....Dapat talaga may batas..
I'm only a quarter Chinese but my dad is really into implementing the Chinese the traditions. I don't really look Chinese though. And people also make fun of your last name because of it being short (ex. Te, Tan, Lao,Go, Tee, Lim).
I can relate to most of the things written here especially the part about the multiplication tableXD
Meaning of racism:
1) the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.
2) prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior.
Just because your spouse-to-be is of the same race as you doesn't equate to both of you having the same values, even people of the same religion have differences in values.
And speaking of tradition, foot binding is a tradition, should we still enforce it on girls?
Going back to the topic, if it's your preference to marry somebody of your own race then go ahead it's your life. But if you think everybody else should do the same then you are racist.
Wanna be chinese
DOWNSIDE! filchi family expects a chinese wife or husbands for their offspring! BALIK PO KAYO CHINA! nasa pinas po kayo!
Actually, if u went to a chinese school in ur primary & secondary education...being a chinese descent or.having a chinese.blood is definitely not a downside. U have the best of both worlds. Ur a pinay wt ur.pinoy frens and.be chinese wt ur.chinese frens. Some old chinese men never bothered to send their kids mestiso kids to chinese.school coz they themselves are illiterate, look down on their half blood kids or they just want u take care of em.wen old. . .just my 2 cents
My husband is pure Chinese & I'm 1/2 my mum is Chinese but Dad is Filipino I can't speak the language either . It's never been an issue to us even to my in-laws .I think it's about respecting the individual uniqueness. Accepting who you are , loving you not on the colour of your skin or what languages you're capable of speaking. My husband and I are exactly different on how we are raised as a kid. I am a devout Catholic, studied in the Catholic School while my hubby went to Chiang Kai Shek school and Buddhist all the way. We got married in a Catholic church, then a Buddhist ceremony after. Our 3 children are all baptized in Catholic church goes to Chinese school but still attend Buddhist ceremonies & Catholic services. At the end of the day, it's about free will & respecting each others beliefs & traditions.
Wow, I'm very happy for you Ma'am! Sadly, it can't be the same way with me and my ex as it appears that having a pure chinese family is important to him too. We initially thought it might work but he realized he values having a pure chinese family and his parents really want him to have someone chinese for a wife. We never fought and everything was fine, but then after some time it came up. :( I'm happy with the thought though that he stopped our relationship because he was also just looking out for me since he was afraid his parents might not treat me well.. :( I think I'll avoid chinese men from now on to save me from the pain though. :))
I like your point. Hahahaha.
"ANAK MAGASAWA KA NG KANO HA, PUTI OR ITIM NA KANO OK LANG BASTA PADALHAN MO KAMI NG DOLLARS."
win.
"chinese japanese korean british spanish kahit ano basta wag lang pinoy ok omg ang puti nila" - ancient filipino proverb
someone i know has actually once said that she wasn't filipino cause someone from her family tree had red hair even though her parents are both very obviously filipino. they may have spanish blood at most - since a lot of filipinos tend to have it as well - but they are definitely filipino. so this guy from your family tree from long long ago whom you've never even met has GREAT RED HAIR. yup, you're not filipino at all. geezus seriously.
almost 6 years later, this blog has become even more popular thanks to whoever first shared it on fb. Hahahahaha. hey did i just write in english when i speak chinese at home and talk in filipino to my friends? i can so relate to this hahahaha
Mebbe Kelvin Uy should update the cute photo of Kim. She's not cute anymore. She's gorgeous now. Hahahaha
haha.. relate much.. corporal punishment sa chinese school pag bumagsak ka may palo yung kamay mo...
it is not about race, but about culture and attitude. having chinese blood is not important. what is important is having the chinese "ugali". nasa tao kasi yan. napaki-importante kasi sa chinese family na kasundu nila yung manugang nila. kung yung asawa has "chinese attitude" (i.e. respectful sa magulang/in-laws, nakikinig sa asawa, hindi sosyal, frugal living, practical sa buhay), then it doesn't matter if chinese blood or filipino blood. kasi i have seen yung mga chinese couples na nag-aaway ang asawa or in-laws kasi nga iba na ang kultura ng either one of the couple kahit chinese blood pa sila both.
i am tsinoy and my wife is pure filipina. she gets along very well with my parents and i get along very well with my in-laws kasi ng "ugaling chinese" din ang wife ko (meaning matipid, mapagmahal sa pamilya, nakikinig sa husband, hindi palalabas meaning medyo home-body, magalang sa in-laws and nakikinig sa in-laws, respects and tries to understand our chinese heritage vice-versa, etc.). so IMHO, it is not about the blood, but the culture.
kaya lang away ng mga conservatives yung mag asawa ng non-chinese kasi nga takot sila na magapag-asawa ang anak nila ng taong hindi ma-intidihan or maunawaan ang chinese heritage. na ge-generalize kasi most of the time, may cultural difference if magkaiba ang upbringing kasi.
halimbawa, kung sanay sa labas ng labas or gimik ng gimik, or hindi sanay na mag work on weekends and holidays, or medyo magastos, or hindi magalang or masunurin sa magulang... all of which are very strictly enforced in a chinese family... magkakaproblema kung mag-asawa, regardless of blood or race. marami na rin kasi ang mag chinese kids na medyo western na ang ugali eh.
just my opinion and observation. i hope i made sense.
What if Tom Cruise or Piolo ask you to be his wife? Would the chinese family still object because they are not chinese?
I'm Fil-Chi but "Fil-Am" actually.. But in America just American, or "Asian American". The racism here in Philippines is stupendous. The concept of "pure race" and questions like "how Chinese are you" with people throwing fractions around regarding the pureness of race is utterly ridiculous and does nothing but propogate inequality.
Coming from a very objectively science education, one realizes that recognition of racial divides does nothing to serve humanity. The human race is evolving past imagined constructs that only serve to segregate by false senses of superiority of one group above others, as is evident when race or religion is exaggerated when considering our fellow man.
What will lead humanity to a nuclear holocaust, thus destroying ourselves? Religion and racial divides. What will lead humanity to conquering what the future has in store for us? Harmony, science and progress, and race/religion/any other imagined construct that serves to hinder humanity as a whole working together will just lead to the former.
Wake up people.
wrong grammar.. Lol
Well said " Fil-Am ", are filipinos in the states considered as " Asian Americans " or Pacific Islanders? ...or, more likely depends on your surname & looks? I find Filipinos & Mexicans very much alike in racial diversity & temperement.
racist is not the point here... merely sharing to other non-Chinese what the real life of Chinese people have. I find the above facts a bit hilarious coz I can relate to it very well. For non-FilChi it is impossible for ya'll to comprehend this since you have no idea what Chinese way of life is. For us, our culture and traditions are very important and in order to keep it strong, this has to be passed on to the next generations. this defines us who we are. We love our culture and traditions. Please respect one's culture.
The "Fil-Am" here. Your views on Filipinos and Mexicans are interesting, thanks for sharing. And you're right, it probably does depend to an extent, on surname and looks. But I fail to see the point of your response. It had nothing to do with the content of my post.
The point of my post was to elucidate the ignorance and uselessness (to society and humanity) the self-praising and promoting of one group of people as superior over another, with race, religion, socioeconomic status etc.. as its basis.
mostly true lahat dito....ha ha ha..i am a pure chinese
as long as he/she is from a rich family, they're okay with that
Lolz. Pathetic. To think that the money that makes them rich comes from Philippine resources and most of thier customers that made them rich are filipinos.
The point of my comparison, anywhere or wherever u go there is always a sense of false pride & superiority...just as the hongkees look down at mainland chinese citz....but, at the end of the road....there is still oneness, unity and respect. Hope the local p.i. chinese will come to realize. No need to play victim with so called racial slurs against them coz their slurs against pinoys is more one sided ( only a chinese can understand ) & totally below the belt.
I totally agree wt your point....which is already given but should never be tacky as ignorance & arrogance is unacceptable.
I'm part Chinese. Pero I look like pure daw :)) Then lagi na lang ako napagkakamalan na rich kid kasi only child lang ako. I can get all I want daw, siguro masaya and masarap daw. Ugh, kung alam lang nila. Medyo malungkot din kasi ako sasalo lahat ng expectations nila and walang akong kausap kung 'di yaya?,wall, sarili, sahig, etc laging mag isa sa table and medyo nabubulok na ako sa bahay. I want to explore the world naman. Kumain ng street food like normal peeps out there. walk along recto haha kinda scary.learn how to commute. kelangan 'ko maging streetwise rin noh?. gusto ko rin pala sumakay sa Kalesa :((( And mag divi :((
Great blog!
that's funny!
Hi there! I just want to ask something. Chinese last name ba yung CAL?
I hate it when people refer to me as "intsik", like 'tanong mo kay intsik", "asan na c intsik", "oi intsik" napaka racist kasi minsan ng mga pinoy, it's like calling an African-American "Nigger". Or when you go someplace na hindi maraming nagpupuntang Chi/ Fil-Chi and they stare at you like you're from another planet, and they still wonder why most of the time we stick to our own kind.
The issue isn't much about racism or being a purist;
but rather being a bigot & ethnocentricism.
My folks migrated from China for me to be born & raised in the Philippines.
After a decade stint of college & work experience in the US; I've also discovered how other Asian immigrants think along the way.
Bottom line is that its all about preferences.
People are people folks. ~_-
On a side note, Fil-Chi is a misnomer & Chinese-Filipino is the correct term.
Same reason why u don't hear the term American-Chinese, American-Filipino, American-African, & so on.
Thom, I think you have a point. But if you do not allow your daughter/son to marry a local from the country you migrated into, I think there is something wrong with you. To think that nobody forces you to migrate here and we received you or your people with equal rights as us. If you cannot take the people, culture, etc, of the place that you migrated into, as Australia's prime minister said: you have the privilege to practice your right, "The right to leave our country!"
And..." hoana or hoana po " ain't racist & plain ignorance? Pls enlighten & educate yourself by googling " filipino-chinese " .... pls go ahead & spoon fed yourself.
Give me a break! What has not allowing a Tsinoy to marry a Filipino got to do with preserving your culture? That's two completely different stories. If your culture was not preserved, it means that the Tsinoy who got married to the Filipino did not want it to be preserved. Do not make that culture BS as an excuse to your racist tendencies people!
Ok, first off, Iam half filipino half chinese myself. And I can relate to these practices mostly. What I don't agree with is the practice of being racist/feeling superior of majority of Chinese folks here in the Philippines. They seem to have this perception that ALL Filipinos have negative traits and they don't want their race "mixed" with them in any way, except if they'll be your boss and you are the laborer. For the parents, they FORBID their sons / daughters to have a romantic relationship unless they are pure Chinese or at least have Chinese blood and exposure to their Chinese culture, otherwise wala ka "mana" or itatakwil ka pa. To go that far just because you want to do what you want or go with the person you want? It's STUPID and PRIMITIVE racist thinking ala Donald Sterling of the Clippers! Google him if you don't know him. We're already at the 21st century and mixed couples are already everywhere so bakit napaka primitive pa rin ng thinking ng iba? Because of differences? Isn't it part of life to learn something different? Iam exposed to both Filipino and Chinese culture so I know and Iam speaking from 1st hand experience. My father has the primitive thinking himself and he has really been a pain in the ass frankly speaking, because I have a Filipina girlfriend for almost 7 years now and yet she can't visit here freely because my father is being a D!ck about it! On the bright side, I don't care and I'll stand up for what i want. Honestly we're not rich so wala naman "mana" maththreaten sakin unlike the other rich kids. To close this out, I don't care what race, religion or practices you do, why can't we just be open minded without offending or mocking anyone? Like the saying, "nasa tao yan" , yeah I believe that but I just hope mag open naman ng mind yung napakaclose minded na mga tao.
wtf hahahhaahaahahahahaha
Puro strict chinese traditions ang nababasa ko...pero I have a first jand experience with a friend. Pure chinese sila. She is the eldest and only daughter pero halos lahat sa list wala sa kanya.
Agree!WTF!!! Malamang ikaw din yung "CEO". Composed of melamine? As in hard plastic ka na microwaveable? Organize your thoughts bago magpost!Mag-abacus ka na lang.Bwahahahahaa
i am pure Chinese :D actually Taiwanese it's almost the same and I love black <3
I sense a fil-chi in his 30s above made this...
Well, if you hate our culture and don't like our values then why th F#*% are you here in our country! you guys are just taking up our resources! Go back to your mothership you piece of racist S#*@!
Yeah! Go back to your mothership you racist S@#%! We didnt force you to go here in the first place! Who the hell do you think you guys are?! That is why alot of western people hate your race! PLEASE GET OUT OF OUR COUNTRY FOR CRYING OUT LOUD IF YOU WILL DISCRIMINATE US IN OUR OWN COUNTRY!
Entitled? Entitled of what? This racist S#@%s doesn't even belong here. They stole FILIPINO resources and make themselves rich and yet they hate FILIPINOs who made them rich in the first place! Stupid people! That is why alot of western people hate your culture!
One simple question to all Fil-Chi who keeps on defending their cultural and racial tendencies as valid. WHY THE F#@$ ARE YOU GUYS STILL HERE IN THE PHILIPPINES?!?!
I am half fil by blood. Tsusiya as my kins would call us.My papa's side (Chinese) of the family sobra mababa tingin sa amin kasi my fil blood daw kami.when we were kids, my lanlang cousins would actually bully me for looking more filipino, calling me huana ,and i say to them ako filipino eh kayo lanlang ,so sino ang outsider sa atin? Then they would shut up. And continue chatting in their broken fukien. I just learn to ignore my ignorant relatives. Its not their fault they were brainwashed.
I actually take pride of being more filipino even if i have a monosyllabic lastname. My friends would actually laugh when i say i'm filchi. They'd say no you're not.lol.Glad papa won't reto me and my siblings not like my cousins who are being "kaishaoed" to strangers. Plus the only chinese attribute i truly appreciate is being hardworking. Thats it. I am a workaholic like my chinese grandparents and papa. And i am also matipid. Like to live below my savings.
Please don't say" go back to China!" to my fellow filchis. Phils. is the only country we know and love.We were born here and we share the same dreams with you guys. You probably just met bad apples like my relatives but there are good ones out there. Its true. Probably less than the bad ones but nevertheless there are. Peace!
SAME AS YOU FILIPINOS LIVING OUTSIDE THE PHILIPPINES WHO WANT TO MARRY WITHIN THEIR OWN CIRCLE, LIKE FILIPINOS LIVING IN THE USA WHOSE PARENTS WANTS THEIR KIDS TO MARRY FILIPINOS AS WELL JUST BECAUSE THEY WANT TO PRESERVE THEIR CULTURAL HERITAGE, IF YOUR PROUD TO BE PINOY THEN WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU WANT TO MIX RACE IF YOUR PROUD OF YOUR RACE? SHOULDN'T YOU BE PRESERVING YOUR BLOOD IF YOU ARE REALLY PROUD OF BEING PINOY? SHOULD WHITE AMERICANS ALSO TELL FILIPINOS TO GO BACK TO PHILIPPINES JUST BECAUSE THEY WANT TO MARRY WITHIN THEIR COMMUNITY? DON'T BE A HYPOCRITE BELIEVING IN YOUR OWN RIGHTEOUS PATH BUT SPEAKING DIFFERENTLY. IN THAILAND THE CULTURE, TRADITIONS AND RELIGION IS MORE SIMILAR WITH EAST ASIA THAT IS WHY CHINESE IN THAILAND HAVE FULLY ASSIMILATED IN THAT COUNTRY WHEREAS IN MALAYSIA AND INDONESIA ARE MUSLIMS WHERE THE CHINESE COMMUNITY IS MORE RELUCTANT IN MARRYING OR INTERMIXING WITH THE NATIVE POPULATION SINCE THE CULTURE, TRADITION AND RELIGION IS TOO FAR. ALSO MALAYSIANS AND INDONESIANS TAKE PRIDE AND KEEPING THEIR PURITY IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY, WHEREAS HERE BASE ON WHAT I SEE FROM WHAT YOU COMMENTED IS THAT YOU BASICALLY WANT TO DILUTE YOUR OWN NATIONALITY IN YOUR OWN HOMELAND.
True Chinese will be Chinese the way filipino lives and act manners are way way way far from Chinese
Never will I accept that juana way of life NEVER
